Over the past half century the Air Force Association has gathered visual images from sources worldwide. This montage was created from 35mm film footage, showing American airpower and technology during times of war and peace. The sequence includes extremely rare footage of the USAF’s "VertiJet," which was launched in the 1950s and was heretofore only seen in still photographs.
